From State to state.
They've got it down in some ways, 21 to buy alcohol, ok , at least the same in EVERY state now
Tobacco laws are a mess, it used to just be 18 was largely unenforced. When I was in HS, graduated in 1982, students 95% of them not 18, smoked between periods often joined by teachers to suck one down in 2 minutes and leave a minute to get to the next classroom, there were even ashtrays there ! I didn't smoke cigs in HS, but did smoke weed not at schoo, my point being selective enforcement, or basically non enforcement of the law..
I'm not saying it's wrong to up it to 21, just pointless, I'd rather it be more uniform for everything
The way it is now in many areas an 18 year kid could legally buy a shotgun or other long gun... ( Maybe even a handgun ?), But not a pack of cigarettes ?
It's one country, one currency, make the laws more uniform.
A guy from Florida with Fla plates and dark tinted windows shouldn't get hassled in New England
We need some common sense, people !
Just make an oz of personal weed legal everywhere, even if your state hasn't decided to allow dispensaries
